Itinerary

DAY 1
Arrival Lucknow, Pick up and drive to Nepalgunj (approx 4 to 5 hrs drive), Briefing, Dinner and overnight at Nepalgunj.
DAY 2
Early morning, fly to Simikot (1 hr by aircraft) & continue flight to Hilsa (25 min by helicopter), then after short walk to cross border (10 min) then drive to Taklakot (1 hr) completing immigration formalities in China side. Overnight at Hotel Himalaya or similar .
DAY 3
Rest at Purang for acclimatization, Overnight at Hotel Himalaya or similar.
DAY 4
Drive, Purang to Lake Manasarovar (Chiu Gompa) 4560 m / 2 hrs, Overnight at Hotel Himalaya.
DAY 5
Drive Upto Darchen and Overnight stay
DAY 6
Drive upto Yama Dwar ( approx 45 min) then start trek to Diraphuk ( 4920 m ) 5 to 6 hrs trek .Overnight at Guesthouse.
DAY 7
Trek to Zuthulphuk ( 4780 m ) via Dolma La Pass ( 5600 m ) 9 hrs, Overnight at Guesthouse.
DAY 8
Finish Trek near Darchen (3 hrs) & Drive back to Sher and continue exit to Hilsa along with all rest members – 3 hrs, Overnight at Guesthouse .
DAY 9
Early morning fly to Simikot by helicopter and changeover flight to Nepalgunj and then drive to Lucknow (4 to 5 hrs) for onward travel .

  • Airport transfers in Kathmandu.
  • Overland transfers as per itinerary. ( Syaprobesi to and fro journey by non A/C coach and in Tibet: A/C coach)

  • Half day sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Ji in Kathmandu.

A small day pack. ( Back pack for personal items )
Enough clothing for the whole Yatra. Do not over load your bag.
Any regular medicines that you take
Toiletries' kit (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, towels etc).
Water bottle / Thermos/ Flask for hot water (2 liters).
Sports shoes & Trekking boots (light weight & comfortable for walking)
Woolen socks (around 4 pairs).
