Kerala is India’s most complete holiday destination. In one journey, you experience misty Himalayan-scale tea estates, ancient spice-trading port towns, a labyrinthine backwater network unlike anywhere else on Earth, and beaches that glow gold in the Arabian Sea sunset. Kerala is nicknamed God’s Own Country — and after visiting, you’ll know exactly why.
Our Kerala Complete Tour Package — 6 Nights 7 Days — is the definitive Kerala holiday for Indian travellers, threading together the state’s most extraordinary experiences in one beautifully paced journey. Begin in the colonial splendour of Fort Kochi, where Chinese fishing nets silhouette against the evening sky. Ascend to Munnar’s rolling emerald tea estates and cool highland air. Follow the spice trails to Periyar’s jungle-fringed lake. And then comes the centrepiece: a 24-hour overnight houseboat drift through the legendary Alleppey backwaters, where nothing exists but coconut palms, mirrored water, and the sound of birds. End at Varkala’s dramatic sea cliffs for sunsets over the Arabian Sea.
This Kerala tour package includes all transfers, MAP meals, the houseboat overnight, guided Fort Kochi walk, tea estate visit, Periyar safari, Kathakali show, Kalaripayattu performance, and an Ayurvedic massage — a complete Kerala experience at outstanding value.
Arrive at Cochin International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Fort Kochi — Kerala's most evocative neighbourhood, where Portuguese, Dutch, British, Jewish, and Chinese influences have layered themselves over the centuries onto a sliver of land between the Arabian Sea and the backwaters. Evening walk along the iconic Chinese fishing nets at sunset on Vasco da Gama Square. Dinner at a Fort Kochi seafood restaurant. Overnight in Kochi.
After breakfast, take a guided heritage walk of Fort Kochi — visiting the Santa Cruz Basilica, the Dutch Cemetery, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace) with its extraordinary Kerala murals, and the Paradesi Synagogue in Jew Town — one of India's oldest active synagogues. Browse the antique shops of Jew Town for spices, curiosities, and Kashmiri crafts. Drive to Munnar (4 hrs) in the afternoon, ascending through rubber and cardamom plantations as the landscape transforms dramatically into rolling emerald tea estates. Overnight in Munnar.
Full day exploring Kerala's hill station crown. Morning walk through the lush rows of Tata Tea's iconic Kolukkumalai or Eravikulam tea estates (the world's highest organic tea gardens). Visit the Tea Museum at Munnar town. Afternoon: Eravikulam National Park — home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat and the spectacular Neelakurinji flower (blooms every 12 years). Visit Mattupetty Dam and Indo-Swiss Dairy Farm. Sunset at Echo Point on the lakeside. Kathakali cultural performance in the evening. Overnight in Munnar.
After breakfast, drive to Thekkady — gateway to the Periyar Tiger Reserve (2.5 hrs). Arrive and embark on the celebrated Periyar Lake Boat Safari — a 2-hour motor launch glide across the forest-fringed lake to spot wild elephants, sambar deer, wild boar, otters, and diverse birdlife on the shoreline. In the evening, visit a spice plantation and watch a Kalaripayattu martial arts performance — the ancient Indian fighting art that is believed to be the mother of all Asian martial arts. Overnight in Thekkady.
Drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha) in the morning (3 hrs). Board your private traditional Kerala kettuvallam houseboat — a beautifully crafted wooden vessel with all modern comforts (AC bedroom, private bathroom, sun deck, personal chef). Cast off and drift through the legendary Kerala backwaters — a 900 km network of lagoons, lakes, and canals lined with coconut palms, paddy fields, and villages where life unfolds at the pace of the water. Lunch and dinner prepared fresh onboard using local produce. Overnight on the houseboat.
Wake up to a misty backwater morning on the houseboat. Watch the fishermen cast their nets, kingfishers dart over the water, and village children wave from the bank. Enjoy a final onboard breakfast before disembarking. Drive to Varkala (2 hrs) — a beach town perched on dramatic red laterite cliffs above the Arabian Sea. This is Kerala at its most serene and atmospheric. Sunset at the clifftop. Ayurvedic massage session at a beach-side wellness centre. Overnight at Varkala.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Thiruvananthapuram Airport (TRV) for your return flight home. Kerala lingers — in the scent of spices, the green of the coconut palms against the blue of the Arabian Sea, and the deep unhurried calm that only this corner of India can give you. God's Own Country, indeed.
October to March is the peak season for Kerala — weather is pleasant across all regions. November to January is ideal for backwaters (calm waters, cool weather) and Munnar (clear mountain views). Monsoon (June–September) transforms Kerala into a lush green paradise and is actually ideal for Ayurvedic treatments, which are most effective in the rainy season.
Kerala's traditional kettuvallam houseboats are wooden vessels built using ancient boat-building techniques. The boat includes a cosy AC bedroom, private bathroom, sun deck, and a personal chef who cooks fresh Kerala meals onboard. You drift through the backwaters at a gentle pace, with no WiFi, no city noise, and no schedule. It is one of the most peaceful travel experiences in India.
Yes! Kerala is one of India's top honeymoon destinations. Munnar's misty tea estates, the houseboat experience on the backwaters, and Varkala's clifftop beaches are all inherently romantic. We have a dedicated Kerala Honeymoon Package with private villas, Ayurvedic couples spa, and romantic dining experiences.
