Bali — the Island of Gods — is one of those rare destinations that genuinely lives up to the hype. Terraced rice paddies, ancient sea temples, volcanic sunrises, emerald jungle rivers, and a spiritual energy that you feel the moment you step off the plane. Our Bali Adventure & Culture Package — 6 Nights 7 Days — is crafted for Indian travellers who want to experience Bali’s best: its landscapes, its soul, and its thrills.
Hike through the pre-dawn darkness to the rim of Mount Batur, an active volcano, to watch the most dramatic sunrise of your life. Walk through the world-famous Tegallalang rice terraces. Watch Bali’s ancient Kecak fire dance performed at clifftop Uluwatu Temple against a blazing sunset. Raft the Ayung River through jungle canyons. And then let Bali restore you completely with a traditional Balinese massage in a tropical spa pavilion.
This Bali tour package from India splits your stay between the cultural heartland of Ubud and the cosmopolitan beaches of Seminyak — giving you the complete Bali experience. With 4-star resort stays, all transfers, and major inclusions handled, all you need to do is show up and be amazed.
Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. Be greeted with a traditional Balinese welcome and flower garland as our driver transfers you to your Ubud resort. The 90-minute drive through rice terraces and traditional villages gives you your first taste of Bali's magic. Check in, explore the resort, and enjoy a relaxing first evening in the cultural heart of Bali. Overnight in Ubud.
Rise before dawn (3 AM) and drive to the base of Mount Batur, Bali's active volcano. Begin the 2-hour trek guided by an experienced local to the crater rim (1,717 m), arriving just in time for one of the most spectacular sunrises you'll ever witness — golden light spilling over the volcanic lake, mist clinging to the caldera, and the whole of Bali stretched below you. Enjoy breakfast cooked using the volcano's natural steam. Return to resort for rest and lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Ubud.
After a late breakfast, explore Ubud's rich cultural heritage. Visit the Tegallalang Rice Terraces — iconic stepped paddy fields that are among the most photographed in the world. Walk through the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, inhabited by hundreds of playful long-tailed macaques. Visit the ornate Ubud Royal Palace and the Ubud Art Market for hand-carved woodwork, batik, and local crafts. End with a sunset visit to the Tirta Empul holy water temple for a spiritual Balinese experience. Overnight in Ubud.
After breakfast, head to the Ayung River — Bali's most scenic white-water rafting route — for an exhilarating 2-hour raft through lush jungle canyons, bamboo groves, and gentle rapids. After the adrenaline rush, transfer to Seminyak (approx. 1.5 hrs). Check in to your beachside resort. In the evening, indulge in a 90-minute traditional Balinese massage and spa session. Dinner by the beach. Overnight in Seminyak.
After breakfast, drive south to the Uluwatu Temple perched dramatically on a cliff 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. Explore the temple grounds with resident monkeys and enjoy panoramic ocean views. Stay for the celebrated Kecak Fire Dance — performed at sunset on the clifftop stage, with the roaring sea as backdrop. One of Bali's most memorable cultural experiences. Return to Seminyak. Overnight in Seminyak.
After breakfast, visit the iconic Tanah Lot Temple at sunset — a sea temple perched on a rocky islet with crashing waves around it, creating Bali's most iconic silhouette photograph at dusk. Return to Seminyak for a final beach evening. Enjoy sundowners at a famous Seminyak beach club (Potato Head, Ku De Ta), browse boutique shops on Jl. Oberoi, and enjoy a farewell Balinese dinner. Overnight in Seminyak.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Ngurah Rai Airport for your flight home. Bali has a way of staying with you long after you leave — in the scent of incense, the sound of temple bells, and the warmth of its people. Until next time, Bali.
Indian passport holders can obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) in Bali at Ngurah Rai Airport. As of 2025, the VOA costs USD 35 and is valid for 30 days. You can also opt for the e-VOA (online application) before travel. Sunsilk Holidays will guide you through the process.
April to October (dry season) is the best time to visit Bali. May, June, and September are especially ideal — sunny skies, low humidity, and manageable crowds. Avoid December to February (rainy season) for outdoor activities like trekking and rafting.
The Mount Batur trek is moderately challenging — it's a 2-hour hike on volcanic trails in the dark. Participants need basic fitness but no technical mountaineering skills. Experienced local guides escort all groups and adjust the pace. Not recommended for guests with serious knee or cardiac conditions.
