Thailand is Southeast Asia’s crown jewel — and one of the most-loved international destinations for Indian travellers. With its golden temples, turquoise seas, misty northern mountains, world-famous street food, and warm Thai hospitality, this Kingdom delivers an extraordinary variety of experiences in one compact, easy-to-navigate country.
Our Thailand Highlights Tour Package — 6 Nights 7 Days — takes you through three of Thailand’s most iconic destinations in one seamless journey. Start in Bangkok — a city of contrasts — where ornate ancient temples sit beside gleaming skyscrapers and colourful floating markets bustle at dawn. Then fly north to Chiang Mai, the soul of Thailand, where you’ll have an ethical elephant sanctuary encounter, learn to cook authentic Thai curries, and explore misty mountain temples. End in Phuket — perhaps Thailand’s most beautiful chapter — with a speedboat island-hopping adventure to the legendary Phi Phi Islands and the pristine waters of Maya Bay.
This Thailand tour package from India includes internal flights, 4-star hotels, guided city tours, an ethical elephant experience, a cooking class, and the Phi Phi Islands day tour — everything included for an effortless Thai holiday.
Land at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok and be welcomed by our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Bangkok's central district. Spend your first evening exploring Asiatique — Bangkok's iconic riverside night market with restaurants, bars, a giant Ferris wheel, and hundreds of boutique stalls. Taste Thailand's world-famous street food. Overnight in Bangkok.
After breakfast, dive into Bangkok's extraordinary heritage. Begin at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew — Thailand's most sacred temple housing the emerald Buddha. Next, visit Wat Pho — home to the magnificent reclining Buddha (46 metres long) — and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River. Take a longtail boat through Bangkok's klong (canal) network for a glimpse of traditional Thai life. Afternoon at leisure. Optional Bangkok night market or Muay Thai show. Overnight in Bangkok.
Early morning drive to the famous Damnoen Saduak Floating Market — a riot of colour, aromas, and wooden boats piled with tropical fruits, vegetables, and Thai snacks. After exploring the market, return to Bangkok, check out, and fly to Chiang Mai — the cultural capital of Northern Thailand (approx. 1 hr). Check in to your Chiang Mai resort. Evening at the Sunday Walking Street market. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
After breakfast, spend a morning at an ethical elephant sanctuary — feed, bathe, and walk alongside rescued Thai elephants in a responsible, tourism-aware environment that prioritises animal welfare (no elephant riding). Return to Chiang Mai for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Doi Suthep Temple perched on a mountain above the city for panoramic views, and explore the historic Old City wats. Evening at Chiang Mai's vibrant Night Bazaar. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Morning Thai cooking class — learn to make Tom Yum, Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice from a local chef at a traditional cooking school. Post-lunch, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your flight to Phuket (approx. 1.5 hrs). Check in to your Phuket resort. Evening at Patong Beach — walk the famous Bangla Road for its electrifying nightlife or relax by the sea. Overnight in Phuket.
Full-day speedboat excursion to the stunning Phi Phi Islands — a cluster of limestone islands rising dramatically from turquoise Andaman waters. Snorkel at Shark Point and Pileh Lagoon, visit the famous Maya Bay (location of the movie 'The Beach'), swim at Monkey Beach, and enjoy a beach picnic lunch on a white sand cove. Return to Phuket in the late afternoon. Overnight in Phuket.
After breakfast, check out and enjoy a final Phuket morning. Visit Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hill for views over the island, browse Phuket Old Town's Sino-Portuguese shophouses and boutique cafes, or simply relax at the beach before your transfer to Phuket International Airport. Thailand leaves every visitor with a longing to return — and we'll be here to make that happen!
Yes, Indian passport holders require a Thailand tourist visa or the Thailand e-Visa (available online before departure). A Visa on Arrival (VOA) facility is also available at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Sunsilk Holidays assists with e-Visa applications and documentation.
November to February (cool season) is the best time to visit Thailand. Weather is pleasant across Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and the islands. March to May is hot. June to October is Thailand's rainy season — while Chiang Mai can be visited, Phuket and Phi Phi islands are affected by rough seas and some boat tours may not operate.
Thailand has excellent vegetarian options in all major cities. Look for the yellow flag with a red เจ symbol which indicates vegan/vegetarian restaurants — especially common during the Vegetarian Festival period. We can pre-arrange vegetarian meals at restaurants throughout the itinerary.
Yes. We only partner with sanctuaries that are members of Elephant Nature Park or similar welfare-certified organisations. These facilities rescue elephants from the logging and riding industry, providing humane, natural living conditions. Guests can feed, bathe, and walk with elephants but riding is strictly prohibited.
